<p> Humphries Memorial Scholarship</p><p>John and Marya Humphries were both born in southwest Saskatchewan and were devoted to family and community. They volunteered on several boards and committees over the years. John and Marya were especially involved with youth activities and were strong supporters and advocates for education. It was their wish to establish a Scholarship that would support and encourage high school graduates from Maple Creek and district to pursue post-secondary education so that they may better serve their family, community and society.</p><p>Application Form</p><p>The Humphries Memorial Scholarship is available to students who have graduated from Maple Creek Composite School and Fox Valley School. The Scholarship amount varies based on the interest on the principal investment, however it is generally around a $ 1,000.00. Deadline for applications is the end of February on an annual basis. Payment of the Scholarship is conditional on the successful candidate providing proof from the post-secondary institution that the candidate has successfully completed the first semester of a post-secondary program and is enrolled for the second semester.</p><p>1.
