<p>$$$$$$ GRANT ALERT</p><p>PLEASE POST ON FACULTY BULLETIN BOARD </p><p>DATE: JULY 27, 2016</p><p>TO: AREA SUPERINTENDENTS, PRINCIPALS, PROGRAM DIRECTORS, AND GRANT TEAMS </p><p>FROM: STACEY SMITH, PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT</p><p>RE: KIDS RUN THE NATION GRANT 2016</p><p>SCOPE: Since 2007, the RRCA and Kids Run the Nation have assisted running clubs, schools, and community nonprofits interested in implementing or currently hosting youth running programs.</p><p>ELIGIBILITY:  Must be an existing or start-up program and more than a one-time event.  Ideally uses the RRCA “Kids Run the Nation” youth running curriculum  Must be gender inclusive  Should focus on participation, but may include competitive activities or events  Check the website for specific items that grant funds may/may not be used for.</p><p>FUNDING: Eligible applicants may apply for $500 up to $1,000.
