<p> THE FAITH TRUMBULL CHAPTER, DAR, INC. 42 Rockwell Street Norwich, CT 06360 860-877-8737</p><p>Dear Applicant:</p><p>The Faith Trumbull Chapter DAR, Inc. has established one-year Scholarship awards of $500.00 each to graduating seniors from Norwich Free Academy, Montville High School, St. Bernard High School, Bacon Academy and Griswold High School. These awards will be paid directly to the college where you are accepted. </p><p>Selection is based on school record, financial need, clarity of college goals and personal potential. You may apply for this scholarship even though you may have applied for the Connecticut State DAR scholarship.</p><p>The Scholarship will be awarded when Faith Trumbull Chapter receives notification from the Registrar’s Office that you are enrolled and attending classed during the 2008-2009 calendar year. It is your responsibility to make sure Faith Trumbull receives this information.</p><p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE</p><p> Complete the Personal Fact Sheet  Complete the Financial Need Sheet  Complete the Student Income and Resources Sheet  Submit S.A.T scores  Submit Class Standing  Submit brief, personal letter (250-350) explaining goals in college and any specific interests or plans for future activities.  Submit two personal references from teachers or others who know you and are aware of your activities. (No relatives)  Be sure to fully complete the above information.  Deadline for completed application is April 30, 2008.  Winners will be notified by the Scholarship Chairman and will be requested to attend the chapter meeting on June 4, 2008.
