Bob said that there was a Plant Identification Contest if members wanted to participate. Betty Hughes, Sandy Tremaine Black and Liz Romero made a 100 on the contest. Each of the winners won a prize.</p><p>Janette Barrow and Laurie Brunell were recognized as newly certified Master Gardeners and received their certificates, name tags, and membership cards.</p><p>Unfinished Business Summer Social – Laurie Brunell, chair of the summer social, thanked her committee for all their help, and thanked all that brought food.</p><p>Volunteer Recognition Program - Cindy Waechter said that to participate in the June drawing, members had to report at least 5 volunteer hours to Dale Odvody by May 31. Out of the 27 members that entered, five names were drawn. The first drawn was Bob Davis, and he won a $20 nursery gift certificate. The other four that will also be eligible for the $150 at the end-of- the-year drawing were: Toni Guiles, Janet Magee, Hughlene Micheli, and Jerilyn Preston. Cindy Waechter congratulated Joyce Briscoe, Elaine McIntyre, Joyce Friesenhahn, and John Lewicki for turning their hours in every month this year.</p><p>Pat Schultze Secretary</p>
