<p> MINUTES Monthly Business Meeting EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA SHAG CLUB MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2017 PARKER’S BBQ, 3109 S. MEMORIAL DRIVE, GREENVILLE, NC</p><p>Vice President, Cynthia Cox called the meeting to order in lieu of President, Catherine Good’s absence. Twenty-nine members attended the meeting. </p><p>Cynthia Cox asked for a motion to approve the November 2017 minutes. There was a second and the motion was approved.</p><p>Christmas Party Update: Janet Cowen gave the update. Janet thanked everyone who helped and participated in this event. It was a positive evening. 93 people attended. There were 78 members and 15 guests. There were 92 teddy bears donated. The club collected $345 at the door. Guests paid $15 and members paid $10. The club made $133 with the 50/50 drawing. </p><p>Trailer update: Catherine Good will handle this and send an email out after Christmas. </p><p>ENCSC: Items for sale are: huggies, license plates, decals, and t-shirts and fans. Cynthia Cox has S.O.S. cards they are $30.</p><p>Treasurer’s Report: Brenda Tew. Brenda Tew gave the Treasurer’s Report for November 2017. Total deposits for November 2017 were $950.19. Checks written were $1,036.73. The November 2017 ending balance was $7,689.56. Last year’s balance was $6,422.63. Motion to approve the November 2017 minutes, there was a second and the motion was approved. STANDING COMMITTEES: Ways and Means: No report. Emails and Website: Edna Denton. No report.</p><p>Remembrance: Eileen Daigle. Get well cards were sent to Carlton Hardy and Frank Knight. Keep Melinda, Graham Mills’ daughter in your prayers. </p><p>Membership: Mike Folk. Mike said that there are three new people to vote into the club. This will bring the club’s total to 186. Motion to approve these three new members, there was a second and the motion was approved.</p><p>SPECIAL COMMITTEE: DJ Chairman: Jackie Haislip: Jackie gave the DJ report. Tie-breakers December DJ schedule will be December 13th-Fred Tetterton, December 20th- Guest DJ, Raymond Rigsbee, December 27th- Jackie Haislip, and December 31st, Jackie Haislip will DJ at the Robersonville Country Club.
