<p> Get Wisdom: Go beyond the Gold! Litany</p><p>Congregation: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).</p><p>GEMS: Fearing God is the first step to getting wisdom.</p><p>Leader: Fearing God means we understand how great and powerful He is. It means we approach Him with respect, humility, and awe. Honoring God with our lives is the gateway to gaining godly wisdom.</p><p>ALL: Heavenly Father, forgive us when we are not awe-struck by Your power and greatness. Teach us to approach You in a way that is worthy of Your name. We want our lives to honor You.</p><p>Leader: The world tells us to go for the gold—to chase after wealth, success, and fame—no matter the cost. </p><p>GEMS: God tells us to go beyond the gold by getting His wisdom.</p><p>Congregation: How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver! The highway of the upright avoids evil; he (she) who guards his (her) way guards his (her) life (Proverbs 16:16-17).</p><p>GEMS: In the book of Proverbs we learned how to walk the highway of right living.</p><p>Leader: Walking the highway of the upright is the way of the wise. It guards our conduct and protects us from bad choices that almost always come with painful consequences!</p><p>ALL: Heavenly Father, through Your Word and Your Spirit teach us to make good choices that will keep us on the road of right living and the path of the wise. In Jesus’ name, Amen. </p>
