<p> Ergonomic Design Assignment</p><p>Task 1 – Create a character  This could be a superhero, cartoon character or a super powered classmate! It’s your choice.  Give the character a job (i.e. teacher, doctor, bus driver, magician, butcher, superhero…)</p><p>1. Draw the character on paper or create it on the computer 2. List the characteristics of your character (i.e 7 feet tall, super strong, 3 foot tail… )</p><p>Task 2 – Design an ergonomic work station for your character</p><p>Design must include:  Desk  Chair  Computer</p><p>You may include anything else that you feel is relevant to the functioning of your character in the workplace or home office. </p><p>Design may be done online, drawn by hand or created as a collage (group of pictures cut out and glued together)</p><p>Task 3 – Design an ergonomic work station for a group of 20 of your characters</p><p>Design must include:  Desk for everyone  Chair for everyone  Computer for everyone</p><p>You may include anything else that you feel is relevant to the functioning of the workspace. </p><p>Design may be done online, drawn by hand or created as a collage (group of pictures cut out and glued together)</p><p>Task 4 – Two page report</p><p>Create a 1 page report indicating the ergonomic features of your workplaces. You are to write 1 page total. (approximately ½ page for task 3 and ½ page for task 2)</p><p>Create 1 page report explaining the impact your new workplace will have on the environment. (e.g., disposal of hardware, recycling of paper and toner cartridges).
