<p>Haymon-Morris Middle School 2010 Summer Reading List</p><p>Instructions Instructions: Choose two of the books on your grade level list and/or from the Georgia Children’s Book Awards to read. After reading each book, choose one of the following projects to do: </p><p> Write an alternate ending for the book.  Create a story quilt.  Make a plot line of the story.  Make am illustrated timeline of major events.  Write a review of the book appropriate for a magazine or newspaper.  Make a diorama of an important scene in the book. Write a paragraph to explain the scene’s importance.  Make an artifact that reflects something of importance in the book. Write a paragraph to explain the artifact’s importance.</p><p>6th Grade Projects are due on August 16, 2010. 7th Grade and 8th Grade Project are due on August 2nd, 2010.</p><p>Projects will be graded.
