<p>THE HONG KONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY</p><p>Division of Life Science Research Assistant (TC-122015-RA) (Duration : 1-year contract, renewable)</p><p>Research Assistant positions are available in the Cheung Laboratory (http://cheunglab.ust.hk) in the Division of Life Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The appointee will assist in research projects that investigate the basic biology of skeletal muscle regeneration. He or She will assist in conducting research and general lab duties as assigned by the team leader. The appointee will assist in performing experiments including animal surgery, biochemical assays and histology. Applicant should have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry or related areas. Relevant work experience in biology / biochemistry laboratories, knowledge of laboratory animal husbandry and adult stem cell biology will be an asset.
