<p> School Supply List for Mrs. Dennison’s & Mrs. Tandon’s Pre- K Classes 2016-17</p><p>2 large diameter pencils with erasers *2 packs of 16 large diameter/jumbo (1 for school/1 for home) 1 bottle of white or clear liquid glue, 4 oz. (such as Elmer’s) *2 giant size glue sticks (1 for school/1 for home) *2 pair 5” blunt scissors with 2 different-sized holes (1 for school/1 for home) 1 large (160-210 sheets) box of facial tissues OR 2 small boxes (such as Kleenex) 1 plastic school supply box (any color) 1 box of 8-10 broad-line/large diameter, washable markers, in classic colors * keep 1 at home for practice/homework</p><p>Don’t forget:  Shoes with no laces (please, unless your child can tie them) – Velcro closures or slip-ons/loafers to wear daily with school uniform  1 backpack (no wheels, please) with 1 set of emergency uniform clothing see next page for more details</p><p>Donations Appreciated:  “Family size” box (2.1 lbs) of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Colors Crackers  “Family size” box or bag of Fruit Loops type cereal  “Family size” box of Cheez-It Original crackers  Paper towels (any brand)  Foamy (not gel type) shaving cream (any brand)  Large pack (about 600) of napkins (any brand)  Large box of quart-sized FREEZER bags  Large box of gallon-sized FREEZER bags</p><p>School supply prices are at their lowest in July/August! You can bring your child’s school supplies to Meet-the-Teacher Night, Thursday, Aug. 18th</p><p>CHANGES to the District Supply List – For Pre K, the larger diameter writing/drawing crayons, pencils, and markers are the best for their little hands. 1  16 count large diameter/jumbo crayons (they don’t break as easily). These can be hard to find, so the regular 24-count crayons are fine too. Here are some examples:</p><p> Large diameter pencils with eraser. Ticonderoga “My First” brand is often available in the stores. </p><p> Giant glue sticks (1.4 ounces or larger – the bigger ones last longer and don’t break off as easily as the smaller ones).</p><p> Fiskars type blunt scissors with 1 small and 1 large hole for fingers. Please do not buy the spring-type scissors (the students find them very difficult to use) or scissors with holes that are the same size.</p><p>No: YES! </p><p>ADDITIONAL School Supply Items (not on the District List for Pre K):</p><p> 1 plastic school supply box (any color, 2 approx. 8 3/8” x 5 5/8”) </p><p> 1 box (8 or 10 count) washable broad line (large diameter) markers in classic colors. </p><p> 1 backpack (no wheels, please!) – large enough to accommodate our school folder (without folding or bending it) and a change of school clothing (see below),</p><p> 1 Change of clothing – a uniform top and bottom, socks and underwear.
