Bio: Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on September </p><p>24, 1896.</p><p>2.) Disillusionment</p><p>Fear of Bolshevism and foreigners</p><p>Major goal of government in the 1920s: help business and industry to operate </p><p> with maximum efficiency and productivity</p><p>Prohibition</p><p>3.) Women gained the right to vote. </p><p>4.) Pope Benedict XV dies.</p><p>American actor William Desmond Taylor is murdered.</p><p>Five Power Naval Disarmament Treaty signed between United States, Britain, </p><p>Japan, France, and Italy</p><p>5.) 19th amendment abolished alcohol for all use through out U.S. Amendment itself </p><p> did not ban the actual consumption of alcohol, but made obtaining it legally </p><p> difficult.</p><p>6.) A speakeasy was an establishment which illegally sold alcoholic beverages during</p><p> the period of United States history known as Prohibition. Silva 1</p><p>I think that they wanted to drink and they snuck it for a desire of alcohol. They </p><p> did not care what the government wants.</p><p>7.) Website was denied</p><p>8.) Website was denied</p><p>9.) The impressive leather coaching and customized interiors radiated luxury and prosperity. The relative ease of operation and reliability meant freedom. Beneath their hoods many of the cars exhibited impressively large engines, delivering speed and excitement.</p><p>10.) 1- Sounds like not very enthusiastic and there is no fun. </p><p>2- Very happy, enthusiastic, and entertaining</p><p>3- Wants to send out a message that they have something to say and perhaps maybe </p><p> in love.</p><p>4- Sounds like it is ready for a game and plans on not losing.</p><p>5- Telling someone that they have not been with them because there is always a reason not being there.</p><p>6- Telling her how beautiful she is and precious.</p><p>11.) Cheaters- Eyeglasses, Gams- legs of a women, kisser- mouth, moll- gangster’s girl, </p><p>Whoopee- to have a good time.</p><p>I choose these words that were interesting and had a thought on why they named things the way they did.</p><p>12.) The plot and setting of “Great Gatsby Treasure hunt” is probably are not is club settings and fancy clothing in the dark. Character that maybe found is probably the so called “flappers”, rich men, and many people in love. Silva 1</p>
