The LEA is certified by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, formerly known as the California Integrated Waste Management Board, to enforce state laws and regulations at solid waste facilities within the County of San Diego excluding the City of San Diego.</p><p>Description of Proposed Permit Modification: The proposed modified Solid Waste Facility Permit includes a reduction of the permitted disposal area from 29 acres to 19 acres, an updated estimated closure date from year 2030 to year 2046, update to the owner address and LEA findings. </p><p>LEA Findings: The LEA has reviewed and considered the information, including the environmental effects of modifying this Solid Waste Facility Permit. No substantial changes are proposed in the project and there are no substantial changes in the circumstances under which the project will be undertaken and finds that there are no significant environmental effects arising out of the issuance of this Solid Waste Facility Permit. A Notice of Exemption will be filed with San Diego County Clerk and the State Clearinghouse.</p><p>Where a copy of the permit application can be reviewed?
