<p>Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals and Victorian Principals Association</p><p>Want to know how to avoid the MPB?</p><p>A workshop for Principals and Assistant Principals</p><p>VASSP / VPA along with Peter Hibbins* is offering a workshop designed to inform School Leaders of the role of the Merit Protection Board and its role in relation to School Leaders.</p><p>The Workshop will cover:</p><p> Translation to ongoing  Time fraction changes  Granting of leave e.g. Family leave  Referrals/Compassionate transfers  Selection processes  File noting</p><p>Applications received on ‘first in’ basis.</p><p>*The workshop will be facilitated by Peter Hibbins </p><p>Peter Hibbins</p><p>Peter Hibbins managed the DEECD conduct and Ethics branch from 2000 to 2005 then worked in the Department of Justice to lead the introduction of Working with Children Checks for Victoria. Peter was appointed Senior Chairperson of the Merit Protection Boards in March 2008.
