<p> COORDINATOR TOOLKIT How to Run a Successful Workplace Challenge</p><p>Challenges reinforce healthy behaviors and create an environment of wellness within your home or workplace. No incentives are provided, however, the reward is improved health and a sense of wellbeing - what more could you ask for! If the agency has giveaways, feel free to distribute. Be creative!</p><p>There are many ways offer and promote challenges:</p><p>•Start a competition between people at your agency •Start a competition between groups at your agency •Take challenges home and do them with family •Complete them just for yourself! Things to remember:</p><p>1. Promote the challenge by posting and/ or emailing the information to employees before starting</p><p>2. Distribute challenge via email or paper copy and include:</p><p> A start date and end date</p><p> Contact info for questions etc.</p><p>3. Follow up by sending reminder emails about the challenge</p><p>4. Collect challenge sheets</p><p>5. Distribute incentives when applicable. Suggestions include:</p><p> Hours off (if allowable)</p><p> A certificate </p><p> Healthy snack grab bag</p><p> A bag of agency giveaways  Celebrate with a potluck or event</p><p>CommonHealth would like to highlight your successes on our Facebook page.
