<p> Lil’ Bears Preschool December 2015 Newsletter</p><p>Dear Parents, December is here! Time is flying by so quickly. We have many special events planned for the children during this wonderful time of the year. The preschoolers will be learning all about weather and the four seasons during the month of December. We will also talk about the holidays during the week before winter break. We will be reading many books about the weather, four seasons, and holidays. These books may include:</p><p>Bear in Sunshine by Stella Blackstone Caps, Hats, Socks, and Mittens Louise W. Borden The Wind Blew by Pat Hutchins Dream Snow by Eric Carle What Makes the Seasons? by Megan Montague Cash One Rainy Day by M Christina Butler One Winter’s Day by M. Christina Butler The Mitten by Jan Brett The Hat by Jan Brett The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg</p><p>Holiday Shop The PTA Holiday Shop will be open from 5:00-7:00 on Friday, December 4th at Royal View Elementary. The children will be able to purchase small gifts for everyone on their shopping list. </p><p>Green Day at the preschool will be held on Friday, December 11 th. Have your child wear green clothing and bring a special green item in for sharing (show-n-tell).</p><p>Pajama Day- Royal View Elementary will have Pajama Day on Thursday, December 17th. Please have your child wear pajamas to school on this day.</p><p>Red and Green Spirit Day will be held on Friday, December 18 th. Have your child wear red and green to celebrate the holiday season. This will also be our Winter Party so parents are invited to wear red/green as they join us for the festivities. </p><p>Winter Party Our parties will be held on Friday, December 18th. Parties will begin at 10:30 for the AM class and 2:00 for the PM class. Room mothers will be contacting you prior to that date to remind you of what you previously signed up to bring for the event. Due to space limitations, please make child care arrangements for siblings. </p><p>Winter Break Winter break begins for North Royalton City Schools on Monday, December 21st. Preschool will resume on Tuesday, January 5th. </p>
