Click here and you can enter a series of email addresses (you can cut and paste a list of email addresses into the field) and YGG will send an email on your behalf inviting the recipients to support the drive with an easy click through button to your drive page. Try sending one to yourself first so you can see all the info included in the email.

Encourage others to share your drive

Anyone who visits your drive page can use the social media and email sharing buttons. If just a few friends share on your behalf, image how many more possible donors you will be able to reach.

Build Your Team

Consider adding people to your Team on your drive page. Team members are more invested in the success of your drive and can help spread the word. As team captain you click “Manage your Team” and submit an access code. Then you can invite friends to become team members. They simply visit the drive page, click join the team, and enter the access code you created for the drive (they will have to create a YouGiveGoods account first) and they are an official team member.

Consider inviting your nonprofit to be a team member. As a team member, they can monitor and edit the drive shopping cart. For example, if the drive has seen a lot of peanut butter donations, the nonprofit team member can remove peanut butter from the shopping cart while the drive is underway. And, encourage them to use the email and social sharing tools to reach out to their existing donors.

Review our Resources Page Click the My Account button at the top right of the page and select Resources. The Resources page has a lot of helpful suggestions and tips on promoting your drive.
