<p> LEAP Field Trip Permission Slip</p><p>WHO: All LEAP Classes Grades 1-8</p><p>WHEN: Saturday, September 13 (8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) We are loading buses at 8:00 in the Price Cutter Parker Lot in Waynesville, MO. We will return around 3:30.</p><p>WHERE: Frontier Theater (located outside of Marshfield) - Check it out at: www.frontiertheater.com . Directions are attached to this letter.</p><p>WHY: This is a fun, hands-on, learning experience. The students will relive early settler adventures and learn about Native Americans. They will experience an exciting Civil War reenactment. They will also learn about agriculture first hand including how to grow crops, how to take care of farms animals and raise catfish.</p><p>DRESS: We will be outside the majority of the time. If it rains on this day, the fieldtrip will be rescheduled for a later date. Students should wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We will be doing a lot of walking and may get a bit dirty!</p><p>COST: $10.00 per student. $5.00 per adult and $5.00 per preschool aged siblings.</p><p>**Students will need to bring a sack lunch and a drink. Please do not send lunchboxes. All items need to be disposable. Students will still need to bring their own drinks. </p><p>Please fill out the bottom of this form and return it to your LEAP teacher along with $10.00 no later than Sept. 5.</p><p>**Parents are welcome to join us only if they have background checks with the Waynesville District. Parents are welcome to ride the bus or provide their own transportation. Students MUST ride the BUS to Marshfield but are allowed to ride back with parents. You will need to sign your child out with his/her teacher. Younger siblings are allowed to attend but only with parental supervision. Younger siblings are not allowed to ride the bus due to district policy.
