<p> CITY OF KINGSFORD, MICHIGAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING</p><p>PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Kingsford City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. CST in the City Council Room at the Kingsford City Hall located at 305 S. Carpenter Avenue, Kingsford, Michigan to consider an amendment to the City’s Zoning Ordinance (Code Chapter 44). The purpose of this hearing will be to receive public comments and any objections to a proposed change in zoning from a parcel of land currently zoned R-2 Two Family Residential and B-1 Community Business to RM-1 Multi-Family Residential.</p><p>The proposed zoning amendment involves a parcel of property located in the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 39 North, Range 31 West, City of Kingsford, County of Dickinson, State of Michigan and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of Section 2, Township 39 North, Range 31 West; thence S00°49’16”E along the North-South Quarter line of Section 2 a distance of 2001.91’ feet; thence N90°00’00”W a distance of 50.38’ feet to a point on the west right-of-way of Westwood Avenue and the POINT OF BEGINNING. Thence S00°02’23”E along the said right-of-way a distance of 237.44; feet; thence N89°57’17”W a distance of 582.81’ feet to a point to a point of curvature; thence 165.26’ feet on an arc curved to the left with a radius of 267.00’ feet, and a chord that bears S72°18’ 10”W a distance of 162.66’ feet to the point of tangency; thence S54°34’25”W a distance of 456.35’ feet to the northeasterly right-of-way of Evergreen Court; thence N35°26’39”W along said right of way a distance of 226.00’ feet; thence N53°39’45”E a distance of 619.09’ feet; thence N90°00’00”E a distance of 741.83’ feet to a point on the west right of way of Westwood Avenue and the Point of Beginning. </p><p>Parcel contains 6.92 acres more or less. </p><p>Copies of the zoning ordinance and zoning map may be examined at the City Clerk’s office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.
