<p> EAST BRIDGFORD PARTICIPATION GROUP PATIENT REFERENCE CORE GROUP</p><p>Minutes of the meeting held on 15th October 2014</p><p>Present:- Ian Hilton-Bailey (Chair) John O’Hare Carole Capper Robin Palmer Richard Mackie Rita Case Karen Montrose Jackie Wheeler</p><p>Apologies:- Lindsey Riley Mike Handy Sarah Field-Richards Jayce Hammond John Hill</p><p>Minutes of the last meeting:- The minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed.</p><p>Matters arising:- Back Event:- The advert for the event is in the Parish Magazine, the surgery website, Posters have been put up in the surgery and surrounding villages. Richard, John, Robin, Ian and Karen will set up the room for the meeting on the Friday 7th November following evening surgery at 18-00 hrs. Rita, Carole and Jackie will organise the drinks and biscuits. Karen will enquire from the speakers what they require for their presentation. John has a screen that he will bring for the presentation._ Lindsey will get wine to present to the speakers.</p><p>Friends and Family:- This is to be put on the website and no further action is required at present. Any other business:- From the end of October Rushcliffe is setting up a pilot that will last until March 2015 for weekend surgeries at Gamston Medical Centre. These will take place on Saturday and Sunday Mornings from 0830 – 12-30 on both mornings, there will be 15minute appointments but no home visits. The surgeries will be run by volunteers from the G.P. Practises in Rushcliffe. A data sharing consent agreement for data protection will be signed by all G.P. Practices. There will be remuneration for the volunteers of this service.</p><p>Nottingham University Hospital Trust: The trust has put a G.P. into the Accident and Emergency Department 24 hours a day to try to cut Accident and Emergency attendance. This incentive is in it’s early days so no feedback is available.</p><p>John enquired how patients were informed of Flu Clinics. Karen replied that it was on the website, in the Parish Magazine and posters in the surgery.</p><p>There being no further business the meeting closed at 18-00. The next meeting is on Wednesday 26th November at 17-00. _</p>
