Brewton, B. Dupree</p><p>Members Absent: None</p><p>Meeting Called To Order At: 6:30 pm by: J. Atherton</p><p>Invocation By: B. Dupree</p><p>Pledge Of Allegiance By: J. Atherton</p><p>1. Adopt / Amend Agenda: Motion: W. Smith Second: B. Carter Vote: Unanimous</p><p>2. Adopt last meeting minutes from February 4, 2016 meeting: Motion: B. Dupree Second: T. Brewton Vote: Unanimous</p><p>3. Introduction of new Commission members: J. Atherton made the introduction of Trey Brewton and Benjamin Dupree; both representing Natchitoches Parish</p><p>4. Election of Saline Lake Commission officers for 2016: Motion: B. Dupree Second: W. Smith Vote: Unanimous Results: President: J. Atherton Secretary/Treas.: B. Carter</p><p>5. Introduction of Police Jury members present: No representatives present</p><p>6. Introduction of Wildlife and Fisheries Representatives: Jason Brancamp, Alex Perrett, David Haley, Jill Day, Mark McElroy, Ben Holten and David Hayden, Jr.</p><p>7. Contact list update-List of volunteers to call for lake information:</p><p>8. Financial Report: Checking account contains $ 4,547.23 and CD contains $11,374.26</p><p>9. Resolution To Make for High Water Events; Recommendation to Police Jury: J. Atherton made the recommendations to WPPJ on April 18, 2016: a. 4 ft. above pool stage: no wake, idle speed only for boat traffic b. 7 ft. above pool stage: lake closed to all recreational boat traffic Only emergency, evacuation and boats removing personal property will be allowed c. Signs be purchased for use during lake flood events on three public boat ramps 10. Drawdown Plans for 2016: Jason Brancamp with the Wildlife and Fisheries stated the drawdown for 2016 would begin during the first week of June and the gates would be closed the week of October 1st. J. Brancamp also stated the WLF was looking at the feasibility of using pumps to drawdown the lake. </p><p>11. Salvinia Spraying Plans for 2016-Contract and WLF boats: Jason Brancamp with the Wildlife and Fisheries stated when the lake leveled off spraying would continue with both contract and WLF boats. During the drawdown spraying will be performed. The Rachel Slough and Sand Point areas have been sprayed as requested by individuals from the last meeting. J. Atherton requested 250 spray days.</p><p>12. Tree Removal Written Plan Status by Mark McElroy: Mark McElroy with the WLF has met with both the Corp of Engineers and Lousisana State Land Office and is currently working on a plan for submittal. J. Atherton requested that all steps be layed out that are required for the tree cutting process.</p><p>13. Duck Blind permits: WLF representative, David Hayden, commented on the rules and regulations concerning duck blinds on the lake. David Hayden states all questions should be directed to Steve Smith with the WLF.</p><p>14. Alligator Removal Process: David Hayden and Ben Holten with the WLF Private Lands discussed how alligator permits are obtained for the lake.</p><p>15. Adjournment: Motion: W. Smith Second: B.
