<p> Poetry Portfolio (50 points)</p><p>Poems you should have in your Writer’s Notebook:</p><p>Word Chain Poem Riddle Poem</p><p>Haiku Poems (3) “This is Just to Say” Poem</p><p>Cinquain Object Poem using similes and metaphors</p><p>Number Poem Ode </p><p>“I Am” Poems (2) Sonnet</p><p>“Where I’m From” Poem Pantoum (optional) Format  Digital Portfolio (using PowerPoint or Prezi)  Shared to Edmodo Gallery</p><p>___ Cover (First Slide)</p><p>___It is up to you to design each slide of your Poetry Portfolio, but it is especially important to personalize the cover slide to represent you and your poetry. </p><p>___Give it an original title (not My Poetry Portfolio), put your name on it, and creatively make it your own. </p><p>Suggestions: . Pictures; favorite lines of poetry . Your own artwork or photos (Ask for help with scanning/copying photos from your phone to a flash drive, etc.) . Photos from the web of your favorite poets . A poem of your own</p><p>Example: ___ 2 nd Slide: "What Is Poetry?"</p><p>___Develop YOUR OWN definition of poetry. </p><p>___This may be written as a paragraph or as a poem of your own. Be creative with your definition and design. </p><p>___The slide must be enhanced with pictures, quoted lines of poetry, images, etc.</p><p>3 rd Slide/Section: Your Original Poetry (Note: This section will be 5 slides.)</p><p>___ Include FIVE original poems enhanced with images and/or original artwork. One poem and image per slide. . One of the five must be either the Object Poem or Ode (to show your understanding of metaphor and simile). .
