<p>UNOFFICIAL COPY AS OF 05/08/18 00 REG. SESS. 00 RS BR 2117</p><p>A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Rebecca J. Griffith. With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Rebecca J. Griffith. WHEREAS, Rebecca J. Griffith was born on September 19, 1975, a native of Graves County, Kentucky, and she traversed these earthly bounds on February 4, 2000; and WHEREAS, Rebecca J. Griffith was the devoted daughter of Jackie and Carol Farmer Griffith; and she was the loving granddaughter of Lonzo and Dorothy Griffith of Mayfield, and of Charles and Edna Farmer of Lynnville; and WHEREAS, Rebecca J. Griffith graduated from Northside Christian School in 1993, and she was employed by Wal-Mart; she was a devout member of Sharon Baptist Church where she played the organ and was a Sunday School teacher, a nursery worker, and a member of the Essential Direction Youth Group; and WHEREAS, a life spent worthily should be measured by deeds, not years, and Rebecca J. Griffith is worthy of the highest commendation; and WHEREAS, all who knew and admired Rebecca J. Griffith will grieve over their loss, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE,</p><p>Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. This honorable body does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Rebecca J. Griffith and extends to her family and friends its most heartfelt sympathy. Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Rebecca J. Griffith. Section 3.
