Brambles and All participants VWL to hold back overhanging vegetation esp. those taller VWL’s to warn / caution encroaching vegetation as along footpath from or with poor participants. others pass Seasons to Golf Course eyesight</p><p>Steps up from footpath All participants VWL’s to warn / caution VWL’s to offer assistance to path behind garages esp those walkers if required to Lea Drive unsteady</p><p>Traffic and poor VWL’s to don yellow pavement on Lea Warn / caution all walkers All participants tabards to improve the Drive/East Fairholme before proceeding on road visibility of walking group Road</p><p>Ascent path through Walkers unable to VWL’s to warn / caution More ‘sure footed’ stream, tree roots, pick up feet and walkers about change in participants to give steps and slope up to those with poor surface up path from support to those needing / Broomhill balance Hollibury requesting it</p><p>Use of yellow tabards by Traffic when crossing Warn / caution all walkers VWL’s if visibility Poughill Road to get to All participants before proceeding across poor/position VWL either road back to Car Park road side of road to increase visibility Bude WWW Route Description / Directions</p><p>Route Poughill Church CP – Broomhill Manor – Seasons at Burn Park – </p><p>Hollibury – Broomhill - Poughill Church (Grid ref: SS 223078)</p><p>Distance/Time 2.9 miles / 4.5 km - 1.25 hours </p><p>Suitability Level 2 / 3</p><p>Directions (Starting from Poughill Church Car Park)</p><p>Turn left out of car park into Northcote Lane. Continue up to T-junction with Poughill Road. Cross Poughill Road turning right then immediately left into Broomhill Lane. (Alternatively from Car Park proceed through Graveyard up hill round back of Church to Lych Gate onto Poughill road and proceed with caution to junction) </p><p>Continue on, under sparse, windswept Corsican Pines on hedge banks either side of track. (Note: Mint / sage, Purple Loostrife and Hoary Ragwort plants in left bank-side vegetation)</p><p>Continue on along lane through a tunnel / avenue of young elms (Some dying back already due to re-infection from Dutch Elm disease) continue past track on right (to Broomhill Farm) but stop to enjoy the view from this point, across to Bude (note Compass / ‘Pepper Pot’ tower on Efford Down). Carry on, to the property named “Roundhouse”, and the rest of the Broomhill Manor complex behind it (SS 222072) </p><p>Follow road past main entrance to Broomhill Manor eventually coming out into Poundfield near Bowling Green (Caution one-way traffic coming from Stibb Road to your left) turn right on bend and follow concrete track down to Seasons at Burn Park (SS 221067). Bear left at entrance and walk through out buildings to gate on left leading to footpath (often muddy) leading to Golf Course. After 500metres turn sharp right up steps leading to path behind garages and exit into Lea Drive (217068) </p><p>Turn right and make for end of Lea Drive and proceed down alley way into Melliars Way bearing left into East Fairholme Road, for 300 metres and then turn down alleyway (SS 217071) between houses to Hollibury. </p><p>At the end bear right and walk up stony track uphill to Broomhill Manor (SS 222072) and then back along Broomhill Lane to Poughill Road and back down Northcote Lane to Church Car Park (SS 223078) </p>
