The Rapture of the Church

The Rapture of the Church

Bible Study BibleTract.org The Rapture of the Church

You are invited to a Bible study discussion this Sunday (April 20th)...

I have developed a new set of PowerPoint slides that I will use to facilitate a highly interactive discussion that discusses all the essential details of the rapture of the church. The Scripture we will study will answer the following questions:  What is the rapture of the church?  What is the timing of the rapture?  How is the rapture different from the return of Christ?

The timing of the resurrection of the church is one of the most controversial aspects of end times studies. However despite differing views on the timing of the rapture, this doctrine helped me see the urgency to embrace God's plan for my life. There really should not be a controversy... we will see that the most literal interpretation has the Rapture occurring prior to the Tribulation Week.

A key passage of Scripture that we will look at in detail is 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
