<p>UEA at City College</p><p>Library resources for H.E. students and staff</p><p>All students studying, and staff teaching, on UEA- validated H.E courses at City College are entitled to access the physical and electronic learning resources at both the City College and UEA libraries.</p><p>This leaflet gives details of the range of resources available at UEA library, and how to access these resources.</p><p>Details of UEA library’s opening hours, contact numbers and online library catalogue are available at: www.uea.ac.uk/is</p><p>UEA resources are intended to supplement the resources available at CCN – please speak to a Learning Resource Adviser if you would like help finding resources.</p><p>Please contact the Information Store if your class would like either a guided tour of the UEA Library or a demonstration on how to search the UEA’s online databases. UEA Library resources</p><p>All students on UEA-validated H.E courses, and the staff who teach on these courses are entitled to a UEA Campus card. This card will allow you to enter the library and borrow books.</p><p>The card can be collected from The Information Store, City College Norwich.</p><p>Access to books</p><p>. Students can borrow up to 10 items for a 2 week period. . Staff can borrow up to 20 items, for a term. . Items can be renewed electronically, using the ‘my account’ facility on the online catalogue. . Fines are charged for late items. . Students and staff will not be able to borrow items from the A/V or Short Loan collections (these items can be used within the library, on a reference only basis).</p><p>The UEA will notify you of any overdue or requested items by email only. The email address which City College provides to the UEA can be found on your EILP. Please ensure that you are aware which email address will be used and contact A4 regarding any changes. Electronic access</p><p>Please follow the following links on Blackboard to access the UEA e-resources web page:</p><p>Information Store > UEA Resources > Click here for the UEA e-resources webpage for CCN HE students</p><p>Logging on from the UEA Library</p><p>A wide range of electronic databases and journals are available to students and staff. To access visit www.uea.ac.uk/is and on the left hand side of the page click on:</p><p>Library Services > E-Resources > EzProxy > CCN HE students</p><p>. Access to electronic resources is possible from any internet-connected computer, 24 hours a day.</p><p>. You do not need a campus card to access electronic resources.</p><p>. Students and staff have access to I.T. facilities in the library. No printing facilities are available so remember to take a storage device; disk, memory stick etc, with you.</p><p>Usernames and passwords will be generated automatically for all H.E students and staff. Please come to the Information Store Enquiries Desk to collect and sign for your username and password. Getting to UEA Library</p><p>UEA is located on the south-west side of the city (virtually at the end of the main A11 from London). The No. 25 bus route runs regularly from St.Stephen’s Street to UEA. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.</p><p>The library is centrally located on campus; off the main square, opposite the student union bar. It is well sign posted.</p><p>The library has 6 floors - there are maps and guides in the ground floor foyer, as well as a help desk. If you have a campus card, swipe it to enter.
