<p>NAME ______Online Arrange A Room Floor Plan Project</p><p>Objective: Create four functional floor plans. </p><p>Directions: 1. Log on computer. 2. Pull up Internet Explorer. 3. Go to www.google.com 4. Type in “bhg arrange a room” in the search bar. 5. Click on the 1st link that appears. 6. Log in with your user name and password from the Online Room Design Project. 7. The first floor plan that you will design will be a replica of your bedroom at home. To do this, you must have the dimensions of your bedroom. 8. Click on the “New Room” tab and enter the correct dimensions for your room size. If you are not sure about the correct size, you may guess and change the measurements later on if you need to. 9. Next, click the “Architecture” tab. Under this tab you may select various items from the subgroups: doors, phone/electrical, radiators, walls, windows, and miscellaneous. Select the appropriate items and place them in the correct areas to replicate you bedroom at home. 10. Do the same with items under the “Furniture” tab. 11. When finished make sure that you SAVE your room, title it “My Bedroom.” It should save under your “My Rooms” section. 12. The second room you will create a floor plan for is a kitchen. This does not have to replicate what you have at home. Use your creativity to design a kitchen space that you like. Keep in mind the requirements for a functional kitchen (work triangle). 13. The third room that you create will be a living room. You may choose whether you want to design a formal living room or a casual, family room. 14.
