<p> Carolina Alliance Bank Opens Commercial Lending Office New office located at 201 Henry Place</p><p>SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 27, 2007) – Carolina Alliance Bank (OTCBB: CRLN.OB) President and Chief Executive Officer John Poole today announced the move of the bank’s commercial lending department from 102 W. Henry Street to 201 Henry Place (off E. Henry Street) in downtown Spartanburg.</p><p>The new office houses the bank’s expanding commercial banking team. The bank opened in January and is now operating from three temporary offices in downtown Spartanburg while its headquarters are under construction at 200 South Church Street. </p><p>“While we prefer to all be under one roof, it is a good sign that we have ‘outgrown’ our current location. We are very excited about already having a need for a separate office for our commercial lending team,” Poole said. “We recently added five new commercial banking officers (Pat Crowley, Harold McGaha, Bobby Scruggs, Janice Addington, and Gail Crocker) and they, along with our existing commercial staff, are now located at the new office.”</p><p>Poole said the location of the Commercial Lending Office was selected principally because of its close proximity to the bank’s other offices.</p><p>“With its central location we feel it will be convenient for our business customers, which is important to us,” he said. “Of course this office space is temporary.
