<p> 4-DAY diagnostic training workshop – 15 seats</p><p>Isolation, detection, identification of Xylella fastidiosa in planta and vectors</p><p>16‒19 January 2018 ‒ Anses - Angers, France.</p><p>ORGANIZERS Technical and scientific support: Anses - Plant health laboratory, CNR (Italy) Support: EPPO</p><p>Introduction</p><p>The diagnostic training workshop will be organized within the framework of the EU projects H2020 PONTE (635646), and EUPHRESCO Xylella fastidiosa . The training aims to improve the ability of the participant in carrying out reliable, isolation of Xylella fastidiosa on plants, DNA extraction and real time PCR detection on plant and insects, Immunofluorescence, identification of sub-species (MLSA/T).</p><p>Taking into account the international official diagnostic procedures for Xylella fastidiosa, as described in the EPPO standard PM7/24 (2), the training workshop will include 4-days practical sessions in the laboratory to implement these techniques. The aim of the training is to provide technical skills for laboratory personnel. A maximum of 15 participants will be admitted. The registration of maximum one representative will be accepted for each organisation.
