<p> The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas Scholarship Program Fort Scott Community College</p><p>M.L. (Lee) & Noretta Caldwell Education Fund</p><p>Scholarship Overview: The Scholarship recipients shall be selected by the Scholarship Selection Committee from applicants who submit an application stating their life goals and their program of study. Applicant should be from Southeast Kansas with preference to students from Neosho County School District #101 (Erie & St Paul); Crawford County (Girard, Southeast, Northeast, excluding Pittsburg) and students from Labette and Bourbon Counties. Students from Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma may be considered, too. Students who have earned their GED may also apply.</p><p>Scholarship Requirements: 1. The Caldwell Scholarship is restricted to students in business, science, technology or teaching. Excluding areas of study are athletics, music poetry and theater. Students must be pursuing a degree program which also can include an associate degree. 2. Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5. 3. A minimum grade point average of 2.5 in the previous semester is required for renewal of funds. 4. Financial need is a determining factor. 5. Scholarship funds will be distributed from the M. L.
