<p> Daily Grading Rubric for SRBI Math</p><p>The following rubric will be used to determine your grade for SRBI each day. Daily grade will be determined by the percentage of checks received. o Ready for Class- - Student has Algebra homework out at the start of the class - Student is not tardy to class - Student starts warm up as soon as the bell rings o Completes the Warm up- - Student completes the warm up for SRBI or gives an honest attempt o Algebra Homework is Completed (Worth two checks)- - Student completes the homework assignment for Algebra I class and then hands it into the teacher on time - If student does not have homework, then they will complete an assignment given to them by their SRBI teacher o Respects the Learning Environment (Worth two checks)- - Student makes a positive contribution to the learning environment - Student does not cause negative attention to oneself or distract others - Student helps peers when opportunities arise - Student uses appropriate voice level and language - Student is respectful and kind to themself, their peers and their teacher o Maintains a Positive Attitude - Student maintains a positive attitude toward getting better at math - Student realizes Mr. Brown is here to help them and does not react negatively to his requests - Student does not put their head down - Student only takes breaks during times agreed upon by the teacher - Student stays in the classroom o Completes Additional SRBI work- - Student continues to strengthen math skills after homework is completed by: . Working on the computer . Working with the white board . Completing extra work that is in their folder . Working on a project given by the teacher .
