Candidates will not be admitted after the commencement of examination and not allowed to leave the hall until the end of the examination. </p><p>2. The Hall Ticket shall be produced at the time of examination, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination. </p><p>3. Answers must be in black/blue ink. Sketch pen or ink pen of any other colour is not allowed. </p><p>4. THE HALL TICKET SHALL BE PRESERVED TILL THE TIME OF ADMISSION - without which the candidate is not eligible for admission. </p><p>5. No travelling expenses will be paid for journey undertaken for appearing for the Entrance Examination. </p><p>6. Adoption of any kind of unfair means at the time of examination or taking part in any act of impersonation will render the applicant liable for cancellation of his/her script and forfeiture of his/her claim for appearing for the examination. Decision of the Chief Superintendent of the Examination Centre shall be final in all these matters. </p><p>7. Mathematical Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Cell Phones etc., will not be allowed into the Examination Hall. </p><p>ADMISSIONS : </p><p>Admissions will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance conducted by the University. Test as per the given schedule. The test will be of one hour duration consisting of 60 Objective type questions. Candidates securing equal marks in the Entrance Test will be bracketed for the purpose of award of ranking and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration, older candidates being given priority.</p><p>II. RESERVATIONS : Admission to candidates will be made on a state-wide basis with reservations in favour of local candidates, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes and disabled as per rules. Candidates Local to A.U. Area/O.U. Area/S.V.U. Area, is as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 and its amendment vide G.O.P.No.646, dated 10.07.1979 of Education(W) Department. 33 1/3% of seats are reserved for women in all categories as per orders of Government.</p><p> a) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality. b) Candidates should belong to the state of ‘Andhra Pradesh’. The following categories of candidates are considered as belonging to the State of A.P. for purposes of Entrance Test and admission. (I) Candidates ‘Local’ to A.U. Area/O.U. Area/S.V.U. Area, as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 and its amendment vide G.O.P. No. 646, dated 10.07.1979 of Education (W) Department.</p><p>NOTE : Local Area is respect of Andhra University (A.U. Area) include Nagarjuna University area also. In respect to Osmania University (O.U. Area). It includes Kakatiya University area also. In respect of Sri Venkateswara University (S.V.U. Area), it includes Sri Krishnadevaraya University area also. OR (II) Candidates who have resided in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a total period of 10 years excluding the period of study outside this State. OR (IV) Candidates either of whose parents are in the employment of the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar Quasi Government Institutions within this State at the time of submitting the application. FEES :</p><p>Tuition Fee : Rs.15,000/- per semester. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Rs.3000/- has to be paid as development fee per year.</p><p>VI. Candidate must indicate clearly the discipline applied for in the application and also on top of the envelope containing the duly filled in application specifying the serial number of discipline applied.</p><p>If the No. of discipline is not mentioned, the application will be rejected.</p><p>VII. The application must be accompanied by the following documents (attested copies only).</p><p>(a) Certificate of Educational qualifications. (b) Study Certificates for last 7 years for determining local status. (c) Residence Certificates from MRO if there is private study. Any Programme will be started only if a minimum of 75% of the total intake admission into the programme.</p><p>IX. If it is detected that a candidate has been admitted due to any mistake made inadvertently in the processing of applications and during the admission stage, the University reserves the right to cancel such ineligible admission at any stage.</p><p>XIII.Admissions will be closed within one month of the commencement of the first semester class work irrespective of the vacancies.</p><p>XIV. If any dispute concering admission in the courses of JNTU arises, the jurisdiction shall remain with the Courts/Consumer Forum in Hyderabad only.</p><p>XV.
