<p> Engineer Industrial Automation </p><p>PSA Antwerp and MPET (MSC PSA European Terminal) are the two largest container terminal operators of the port of Antwerp. Together they handle 80% of the container volume of the port. Both companies established in 2015 Antwerp Terminal Services NV. ATS acts as a service organization towards both companies. With appr.330 colleagues, its Engineering Department provides asset management, engineering and technical maintenance services to the Antwerp terminals of PSA Antwerp and MPET.</p><p>The Engineering department of ATS is looking for an Engineer Industrial Automation.</p><p>Function As Engineer industrial Engineering, you are a team member of the Crane Engineering and Projects Group of the Technical Department of ATS. You will work on crane related projects with a significant degree of technical complexities: examples are crane new building projects, overhaul and refurbishment projects or automation projects. Your job includes working on technical specifications, technical documentations, design of technical solutions and follow up of suppliers and contractors.</p><p>With technical expertise, you and your colleagues also support the crane maintenance teams, initiating and coordinating small and medium size improvement projects, and support the maintenance teams in handling and solving complex technical problems. </p><p>You are fascinated by industrial engineering techniques and have at the same time a broad interest in other fields of engineering. You follow closely the evolutions in the market of cranes and relevant technologies, as well as those of the legal requirements and applicable norms and regulations.</p><p>You work closely together with the maintenance teams, the internal purchasing department and with suppliers.</p><p>Technical aspects of your job Being familiar with or experience within following domains is an advantage: </p><p>Electricity Electricity: general knowledge Electrical technical drawings Electrical energy, high and low tension, transport of electricity, transformation and electrical switchgear Electrical motors (both asynchronous AC and DC)</p><p>Measurement and control technology Control of DC and AC motors, in particular frequency drive technology (Siemens technology)</p><p>Industrial automation PLC control, knowledge of Siemens technology Visualization, HMI, Scada Industrial networks and network protocols PSA ANTWERP Napelsstraat 79 – 2000 Antwerpen www.psa-antwerp.be Mechanics Hoisting equipment, hoisting cranes Steel construction, machining techniques, joining techniques Technical drawing Hydraulics, hydraulic power transmission and of hydraulic systems Lubrication techniques Mechanical power transmission: gearboxes, axes and couplings Bearings and sealings</p><p>Law and safety Legal requirements regarding safety of hoisting equipment Norms and regulation with regard to machinery in general and hoisting equipment in particular (FEM and other applicable norms) AREI and ARAB</p><p>Profile Education: Master degree in industrial sciences / engineering or equal Experience: Min 5 years of experience in a technical environment, where you combined technical expertise with project management skills Running of crane related projects is an advantage Languages: Fluently in Dutch and English Travelling: Prepared to travel, as required by the projects</p><p>Competences  A born instigator and a personality that fits within the ‘can do’ mentality of the company  In-depth, structural and analytical approach  Challenged by technical problems</p><p>Offer: You will work in the challenging, no-nonsense and thriving environment of container handling in the port of Antwerp.
