<p>September 1, 2016</p><p>Welcome Back Ridgeway Students, Parents and Teachers!</p><p>Ridgeway collects Box Tops for Education and Tyson Project A+ labels. The money raised is used to fund PTA activities that are offered throughout the school year (dance, movie night, multicultural night, science fair, school agendas, technology in the classrooms and more). Last year Ridgeway earned almost $3,000 through Box Tops submissions. We hope to surpass this total this year!</p><p>Box Tops must be submitted by the last Friday of each month to be eligible for the monthly $10 gift card drawing. You may copy the collection sheets that are sent home and enter as many Box Tops as you would like (minimum of 10 per bag) in each Ziploc-type bag. Please include your child’s name, grade, and teacher’s name on a slip of paper in the bag so they will get credit. The collection bin is in the school lobby. </p><p>Please don’t hold onto your Box Tops until the end of the year. Box Tops do expire! Last year we threw away hundreds of Box Tops that had expired. That’s money the school doesn’t earn!</p><p>We tally each student’s contributions and use those numbers to determine the winners of the end of year party (and the prized Box Tops trophy!) as well as prizes to be awarded to the class and student who contributed the most Box Tops during the year. </p><p>Tyson Project A+ is an additional fundraising activities we participate in. You can submit these labels with your Box Tops. Campbell’s Labels for Education program is being phased out. We will still accept Labels for this school year, so please submit any you have as soon as possible.</p><p>You can also get involved from home by registering for the Giant’s A+ School Rewards, Kellogg’s Family Rewards, and My Coke Rewards. Please take a few minutes to review each programs respective web site to learn how to link store cards to Giant and Kellogg’s, both earn money for the school based upon your purchases, or how to enter Coke Rewards points and turn those into donations to the school.</p><p>If you have any questions about Box Tops or any of the other programs feel free to contact Adrieanne Allen [email protected] and Courtney Mulzer [email protected].
