BAND AUDITION INFORMATION</p><p>Students must audition on the instrument they wish to perform in class. Student auditions will be recorded and the critique will be “blind.” The graded captions will include Performance Fundamentals (10 points), prepared piece Technique (10 points), and prepared piece Musical Effect (10 points). The minimum score to be accepted into the Wind Ensemble will be 26 out of 30. </p><p>Students who are selected into the Wind Ensemble are required to perform as a part of the Symphony Orchestra. In addition to this, weekly after school rehearsals are a co-requisite for participation in this ensemble.
