I’m seeking a challenging position where I can use my knowledge, skills and abilities for efficient and successful project management and department coordination, as I believe I possess creative thinking and ideas that performs strong problem solving methods and the ability to think out of the box.</p><p>Experience</p><p>October 2012 – Present / Amman Ro’ya TV/Jordanian TV Channel</p><p>Nabd Al-Balad show host/News Department Daily news program that highlights in depth discussions in different topics, mainly day to day events and stories that falls under current affairs, education, health, politics…etc. Responsibilities:  researching topics and background information for items to be featured on the program;  Prepare interviews dialog and discussions  interviewing guests in the studio, by telephone or on location;  keeping the program running to schedule, responding positively and quickly to problems or changes and improvising where necessary</p><p>News Anchor/- Evening News Responsibilities:  Produce content material; news editing, segments production, voice over reporting  reading short news, traffic, sport or weather reports;  providing links between programs;  Reading from a script or autocue, or improvising  Participate in special event coverage.  Participate in station and community events.</p><p>March 2015 – Present / Amman RTI International/USAID RAMP </p><p>Communication & Knowledge Management Manager Responsibilities:  Responsible for the overall communication and outreach activities of the project. Ensure integration of all project components in all communications;  Develop and implement the project’s five-year Communications Strategy and Annual Communications Plan and administer the communications operations budget; Ghada Ammar  Work to increase the project’s visibility across the Jordanian governorates through media relations and communications. Raise awareness through internal and external project-wide communications programs e.g. the RAMP Ambassadors Program and the annual contests. Identify appropriate ways to publicize and disseminate project related information and materials;  Develop and implement key external messaging strategies to raise awareness on early grade reading and mathematics;  Constantly evaluate the project’s potential exposure as well as seize opportunities to promote the project mission by incorporating external activities into a consistently updated preparedness/media plan;  Coordinate closely with MoE, partners, donors and RAMP component leads to design and implement the project’s campaign/ media and communication plan;  Provide strategic direction, guidance and support to partners during the implementation of project-related communication activities;  Oversee the writing and editing of key publications, including but not limited to internal and external newsletters, press releases, invitations, brochures and promotional materials. Develop key talking points and messaging around proposed and/or likely legislative language. (Combating Exploitive Child Labor through Education) Program Responsibilities:  To design and manage/facilitate the implementation of communication plans and strategies in collaboration with CHF staff, and partners, that are aligned with the project's objectives aiming at Ghada Ammar  Develop and implement awareness raising campaigns alerting specific target groups to child labor issues, and the benefits of education in coordination with concerned partners.  Develop Advocacy workshops & campaigns targeting specific target groups concerned with education of child laborers.  Conduct continuous awareness sessions and training among sustainable stakeholders, field facilitators and Labor inspectors concerning child labor laws and children rights towards education  Conduct continuous awareness sessions targeting parents of children enrolled in child labor, aiming to focus on the hazards effecting their children through child labor  Design different awareness tools, kits, e-learning material in order to communicate with children and make them aware of their formal rights towards education and to live in a healthy safe environment  Establishes communication networks with relevant local media on issues related to child labor.  Ensure media coverage of the projects' events, and arrange media events including briefings, promotional opportunities, and press conferences.  Encourage private sector commitment to provide funds, project resources, internships, jobs, and volunteers to support projects funded by CHF.  Identifies in collaboration with the Program Director best practices opportunities for scaling up CECLE Program.  Disseminates communication project findings, ensures exchange of experience/learning to government officials, program staff and partners.  Organizes and manages the major events of the CECLE Program.  Ensures proper documentation of all promotional and educational material of the project including multi-media and audio-visual material.  Manage the collaboration and coordination between CECLE partners on all their awareness activities. </p><p>January 2010 – November 2010 / Amman Chemonics International-Jordan Tourism Development Project II/USAID</p><p>Designer and Communications Officer Responsibilities:  Design communication material for the project in accordance with USAID branding.  Create design concepts and layout for reports, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, etc. as needed by technical components.  Support development, maintenance and updates of online media communications for the project.  Maintain content on www.siyaha.org and prepare and upload photos, news, stories, reports and other content on a weekly basis.  Support the Media Officer in media planning, coordination and writing press releases as needed.  Manage various social media and e-marketing tools used, including Facebook, YouTube, etc.  Support film and documentary production for the project. (ATV)</p><p>Planning Producer-Breakfast Show Responsibilities:  Researching relevant materials for the Breakfast Show audience.  Brainstorming and identify potential items for the Breakfast Show.  Work in liaison with the Program Editor and Senior Producers to plan and set up developed items such as reports, News, Segments etc.  Monitoring segments material and editing the scripts included.  Coordinating between the reporters and distribute coverage tasks.  Reserve locations for shooting and other needs such as (make up, camera man, transportation)  In charge of the art work and overall visual appearance for the show in order to communicate visually, stimulates moods, also involved in making decisions about visual elements used, what artistic style to apply, and when to use motion.</p><p>Producer/Presenter –Press Reviews Show (March 2009-January 2010) Responsibilities:  Surfing all the Arabic newspaper sites collecting updated news headlines.  Viewing well-known writers’ opinions and articles that discuss social issues and political subjects.  Prepare 30 minutes of edited newspaper material with chosen caricature segment.  Suggest and contact possible guests for the show such as local writers and political figures.  Present the program with its full segments, on air as an internal transmission including the guest’s dialog.</p><p>Education</p><p>2001 to 2006/ Jordan-IrbidYarmouk University</p><p> Bachelor of Graphic Art and Design (132 credit hour degree)  Faculty of Arts.</p><p>Technical Skills Ghada Ammar</p><p> Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).  Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Internet Communication.</p>
