<p> JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS REGULAR MEETING # 2011-16 AUGUST 17, 2011</p><p>VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF BRIDGEVIEW COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS</p><p>CALL TO The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview ORDER was called to order by President Landek at 7:02 p.m., on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.</p><p>PLEDGE President Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance.</p><p>ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton</p><p>Also Present: Village President Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Gary Perlman, Police Chief Harvey, Battalion Chief Daly, Public Works Director Cronch, EMA Director Vilimek, Building Commissioner Kaput, HR Director Boyme, Treasurer Smith, and Community Services Manager Crossman.</p><p>2011- M-103 Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve APPROVE MINS. the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on August 3, 2011. OF AUGUST 3, 2011 Upon roll call, the vote was: AYES: 5– Trustees Cecott, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton NAYS: 0 ABSTAIN: 1 – Trustee Pticek There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>PRESIDENT’S REPORT – PRESIDENT STEVE LANDEK</p><p>PUBLIC Public Hearing for the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year Commencing HEARING 2011 January 1, 2011 and ending December 31, 2011 for the Village of BUDGET Bridgeview, Cook County, Illinois was opened. There being no questions, comments, or objections from the public the public hearing was closed.</p><p>2011- M-104 Motion made by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to APPROVE ORD approve Ordinance No. 11-30, an Ordinance providing for the Annual NO. 11-30 Budget for the Fiscal Year commencing January 1, 2011 and ending December 31, 2011 for the Village of Bridgeview, Cook County, Illinois REGULAR VILLAGE BOARD MEETING OF AUGUST 17, 2011 AGE 2</p><p>Upon roll call, the vote was: AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton NAYS: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>2011-M-105 Motion made by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to APPOINTMENT approve the appointment of Steven Landek to the Fire Pension Board. OF STEVEN Upon roll call, the vote was: LANDEK TO AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton FIRE PENSION NAYS: 0 BOARD There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>2011- M-106 Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Sutton to approve APPROVE the Retirement Incentive Agreement between the Village of Bridgeview RETIREMENT and Police Officer Ronald Reilly. AGREEMENT FOR RONALD Upon roll call, the vote was: REILLY AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton NAYS: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>CLERK’S CORRESPONDENCE – VILLAGE CLERK JOHN C. ALTAR</p><p>No report</p><p>ATTORNEY’S REPORT – ATTORNEY CAINKAR</p><p>No report</p><p>PUBLIC WORKS & PUBLIC BUILDINGS – TRUSTEE JAMES CECOTT</p><p>2011- M-107 Motion made by Trustee Cecott and seconded by Trustee Sutton to approve APPROVE the purchase of a used Public Works Truck PURCHASE OF PUBLIC WORKS Upon roll call, the vote was: TRUCK AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton NAYS: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>2011- M-108 Motion made by Trustee Cecott and seconded by Trustee Higginson to TABLE BULK table the Bulk Salt Purchase. SALT PURCHASE Upon roll call, the vote was: REGULAR VILLAGE BOARD MEETING OF AUGUST 17, 2011 AGE 3</p><p>AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton NAYS: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>FINANCE – TRUSTEE MICHAEL PTICEK</p><p>2011- M-109 Motion made by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Cecott to approve APPROVAL OF Treasurer’s Report of August 17, 2011 TREASURER’S REPORT OF Upon roll call, the vote was: AUGUST 17, AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Sutton 2011 NAYS: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED</p><p>POLICE & ORDINANCE ENFORCEMENT – TRUSTEE NORMA PINION</p><p>No report</p><p>FIRE AND PARAMEDIC – TRUSTEE HIGGINSON</p><p>No report</p><p>BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – TRUSTEE CLAUDETTE STRUZIK</p><p>No report </p><p>COMMUNITY AFFAIRS SOCIAL SERVICE & SENIOR CITIZENS, TRUSTEE MARY SUTTON</p><p>No report</p><p>PUBLIC PARTICIPATION</p><p>None</p><p>2011-M-110 Motion by Trustee Cecott and seconded by Trustee Pinion to adjourn.
