<p> Dance Recital and Rehearsal Information</p><p>There are a lot of components involved in staging a dance recital. We ask that you carefully go over this information and if you have any questions please ask at the front desk or email [email protected]</p><p>Where: Meadowvale Theatre, 6315 Montevideo Rd, Mississauga, ON L5N 4G7, (905) 615-4720</p><p>Rehearsals June 28 Sunday, 10.00 – 1.00 pm</p><p>Dancers who perform at 5.00 show - should be backstage – by 9.30 am. Students can be picked up from dress rehearsal at 11.00 am. Dancers who perform at 7.00 show – should be backstage at 10.45 and can picked up at 12.00 pm</p><p>Rehearsals are absolutely mandatory. It is essential that dancers get a sense for the stage and an opportunity to practice at the actual recital hall. All rehearsals are at the theater , not at the school.</p><p>Recital June 28 Sunday, 5.00 – 7.00 pm </p><p>Dancers who perform at 5.00 show - should be backstage by 4.30 pm Dancers who perform at 7.00 show – should be backstage by 6.30 pm Dancers who perform at both shows - should be backstage by 4.30 pm</p><p>All dancers should be backstage ½ hour before the recital starts. The doors to the theatre also open ½ hour before start time Time: All dancers should be backstage ½ hour before the recital starts. The doors to the auditorium also open ½ hour before start time. Hair and Makeup : The teachers will let you know how dancers should wear their hair and make- up for the recital. Costumes and Makeup: Dancers should arrive in full costume and makeup. The only thing that they should need to change into is proper dance shoes. Dancers who are in more than one dance should have their second costume with them to change immediately after their first dance. Where the Dancers Go - Backstage: Absolutely no parents is allowed backstage due to safety regulation. Please drop students off with the school staff and leave area immediately. Backstage: Parents are not allowed to remain backstage with the dancers. Dancers remain backstage for the duration of the recital. Food: No food or drink is allowed backstage except water. It is best to have dancers eat before the recital and maybe have a small snack just before coming backstage. Please send dancers with a bottle of water and little ones with something to keep them occupied such as coloring books Photography No flash photography is permitted at the recital. Tickets Dancers do not require tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Meadowvale theatre box office. </p>
