Connect the female BNC end of the VP-USB to a male BNC connector that transmits data. 2. Ensure that the VG4 100 Series AutoDome firmware update file is saved to the computer. 3. Double-click the CTFID icon on the Windows Desktop. The CTFID software automatically checks for the Bilinx signal from the VG4 AutoDome. 4. On the Device Information screen take note of the Device Model number and the Video Type. 5. Click the Upload Firmware button on the right side of the CTFID Main Screen. 6. The CTFID displays a message warning you that the firware update process erases all device settings and returns the settings to the factory default value. 8. Click OK to confirm the warning and to start the update process. The CTFID begins the firmware update and marks the update progress at the bottom of the screen. The update process may take several minutes to complete. 9. Once the firmware update is complete, the CTFID displays message that the firmware update was successful. 10. Click OK to accept the message. 11. The CTFID reloads the settings from the camera and displays the Device Information screen. 12.
