<p> College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS) Implementation Team</p><p>NOTE: This information was distributed at the SSA Conference in June. Since implementation of the CCRS standards in mathematics and ELA will be the focus of the SDE work for the next several years, this will be the only team that you will be asked to assemble. If you already have a Mathematics Leadership Team, we would suggest selecting the leaders of the mathematics team to be a part of this Implementation Team. If you do not want to submit an entire team, please send the name of a contact person that can attend these quarterly meetings and receive the latest information on resources and training opportunities available for your system.</p><p>Over the past few months, many of you have participated in SDE professional development related to the implementation of the CCRS for math and English language arts. Additional training and support will be provided four times throughout the 2012-2013 school year in each of the 11 regional inservice center areas for system-level teams. This will provide an opportunity for team members to continue to learn about CCRS implementation and resources. They will be prepared to communicate and turn around information within your system. You may want to include individuals who have already attended previous CCRS trainings. Please list your system-level team members on the attached form and fax to Cindy Freeman at (334) 353-9204.
