Ranger</p><p>Naches Ave 3rd to Naches Adm. Ranger informed the Mayor and Council that the High School Naches Avenue to High School Project has been declared complete, but the Town is still waiting on documentation to release retainage.</p><p>1. Admin. Ranger informed the Mayor and Council that the Town has hired for the position of public works I. Matt Faussett is the new employee. 2. In the process of implementing Vision Software. 3. Clerk Birrueta will be attending the Annual Financial Reporting class March 6th as well as the Bars training class on March 29th: both training classes are held in Yakima. 4. Department of Corrections agreement: Attorney and Admin. Ranger advised the Town Council regarding the contract. Councilman Williams suggested that the Yakima County District Court provide the Town of Naches with DOC detail report. 5. Annual Report and USDA Reports will be completed the week of March 19th. 6. The Town is still waiting for the Auditor to set an exit meeting. 7. VAC truck sweeper: We are still waiting on news if Moxee will be able to obtain Union Gap’s sweeper. 8. The work has begun for the abatement at the Chinook Center along U.S. 12. Attorney and Administrator are working on the CDBG release of funds from the County on 304 Penney Ave. A court date has been set for March 13th to ask the court to grant the Town the money owed on the CDBG loan. 9. WWTP: NPDES permit/ Ecology meeting. 10. SIED grant/ loan possibilities RTPO: Funding amending the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program to include Second Street to Shafer Ave. and Second Street from Naches Ave. to Tieton Ave. and Sinclair to Town limits. This amendment would allow the Town to apply for federal funds for 2/13/2012 Council Study Session engineering design through the RTPO. If the Town1 were successful, staff would ask Council to apply for TIB funds in August. 11.
