Professional development scholarships are one important way that the NEAT invests in its members. </p><p> Since the availability of funds is limited, preference will be given to applicants who have not previously received a NEAT scholarship. To support as many NEAT member associations as possible, only one award will be made per institution. In the event that more than one applicant from a school scores in the top 15, the person with the least number of years’ experience will be given the scholarship. </p><p> The deadline for receipt of applications is October 1, 2014. Late applications will not be considered. Scholarship recipients will receive a congratulatory letter by November 1, 2014. </p><p> Scholarship funds will be sent upon receipt of an invoice and a brief testimonial following the conference attended.
