Dear Valued CURT Customer

Dear Valued CURT Customer

December 4, 2012

Dear Valued CURT Customer,

In October, we notified you of coming changes in packaging, pricing, and part number assignments to Class I and II hitches. This change is effective January 2, 2013. We are sending this letter to notify you of UPC assignments related to this change. The UPC code will remain with the physical part configuration to which it is currently applied. In short, part numbers are changing, not UPC’s. Here is an example to clarify:

Currently Effective January 2, 2013 Part UPC Physical Configuration Part UPC Physical Configuration 11001 612314003518 Hitch w/ old style mnt. 110013 612314003518 Hitch w/ old style mnt. 110010 612314005352 Hitch only 11001 612314005352 Hitch only

You should already have received a 2013 CURT catalog and 2013 price sheets will be mailed next week. Both documents reflect this change. If you would like an electronic copy of your price file in Excel format that reflects this change, please contact your CURT Sales Representative or you can contact Joan Kelly at [email protected].

A quick way to update your physical inventory will be to simply add a 3 to the end of the part number on all of your class I and II hitch labels with a marker. We can also print new labels for you if you prefer.

Please share this letter with anyone in your company that requires notice of this change.

Sincerely,

The Team at CURT manufacturing
