<p> Maricopa County Farm Bureau Scholarship 2017 Information</p><p>Application Deadline May 1 , 2017</p><p>Send applications to: Maricopa County Farm Bureau 1605 S Gilbert Rd, STE 103 Gilbert, AZ 85295</p><p>The Maricopa County Farm Bureau is offering two $1000 scholarships to students from families who are members of Maricopa County Farm Bureau. One scholarship will be given to a high school senior entering a university, college or trade school for the first time and the other will go to a current university, college or trade school student continuing his or her post-high school undergraduate degree or certification program. There are no restrictions on the location of the school – only that it be an accredited university, college or trade school. The student may choose any major.</p><p>All interested students are requested to submit a LETTER OF INTENT, which should include the university, college or trade school you are planning to attend, curriculum major and minor (if applicable), your personal desires to further your education and your plans upon graduation. Also, a brief summary of your High School and/or College achievements, awards, community service and extra curricular activities should be included. </p><p>Submit all of the following to above address by May 1, 2017: 1. Letter of Intent, as described in the paragraph above; 2. An official copy of high school and/or college transcripts; and 3. Completed application. 4. Two letters of recommendation from a person other than family, mailed directly from recommender to the above address. (Separately from items 1-3) Note: Please do not wait until the deadline and risk missing the opportunity to have your application considered. The applications must be received in the MCFB office by close of business May 1.</p><p>Scholarships will be announced in May. Payments will be made directly to the institution in which you are enrolled, upon confirmation of registration. Half will be awarded the first semester and half the second semester.</p><p>The scholarship winners will be asked to provide their Social Security number.
