The program for the Workshop can be found via the registration link below.

The Deans’ Workshop will be a special event this year because of the half-day session that is planned with the Conference of Chief Justices. On Monday, January 26, the morning session will include a representation of Chief Justices and Deans focusing on several issues of joint interest. Following the morning session, a joint luncheon with distinguished speaker, Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, will be held, sponsored by the Law School Admissions Council.

Immediately after lunch, the Deans will convene in the traditional setting of the Workshop which is designed to be a candid and off-the-record exchange of the views and expressions among the Deans of the ABA-approved law schools. Co-Chairs Dean Gail Agrawal, University of Kansas School of Law, and Dean Kent Syverud, Washington University School of Law, have put together an engaging and informative program. The Workshop will begin after lunch on Monday and will conclude on Tuesday, January 27 at 3:00 p.m. We expect that AALS, NALP and the Access Group will also sponsor meal functions during the two days of the Workshop. In addition, the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law has graciously offered to host a reception on Monday evening for all attending the Deans Workshop.

The meetings are closed and discussions are intended for participants only. Only Deans, Interim Deans, and Deans Designate of ABA-approved law schools, the Chairperson of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, The Consultant, Deputy Consultant and Associate Consultant, the President and Executive Director of AALS and the Chair of the Board of Trustees and Executive Director of LSAC will be in attendance at the Deans’ Workshop. Deans may not send a representative in their absence.

A registration fee is required to attend the Deans’ Workshop.
