<p> Comprehension Screening</p><p>(CORE Manual pp. 150-180)</p><p>Overview:  Administration: Group or Individual  Approximate Testing Time: 3 min.  Silent reading  Modified cloze  Uses graded passages</p><p>Materials Needed:  Teacher instructions (pp. 150-157)  Student record forms and keys (pp. 166-180)  Pencil  Timer</p><p>Administration:  Make copies of Form A Passage for students’ current grade level.  Use Passage 10-A for Jr. or Sr.  Use Teaching Passage if needed, (pp. 155-156).  Distribute appropriate MAZE passage, use the passage for the students current grade.  Have student write name & date on passage & turn face down.  Follow script (pp. 151-152)  Allow 3 min.
