<p> Accessing TIMS</p><p>Please print and follow these instructions when applying for your Emergency Permit renewal.</p><p>You may access TIMS from: our homepage at www.iu29.org under Quick Links (Pennsylvania Department of Education) OR </p><p>Pennsylvania Dept. of Education at http://www.education.pa.gov/Pages/default.aspx#.VV4QWv7wvcs </p><p>Click on PDE Online Services (bottom)</p><p>Click on TIMS</p><p>Remember to log in (upper left) with your Username & Password. </p><p>After logging in – Click on the TEACHERS picture & then the TIMS logo. Under the Log In Status click “here”, which will take you to your homepage (it will say welcome to TIMS)!)</p><p>Click on “Emergency Permit Application” (this will be on the right-hand side)</p><p>Step 1 - Demographic Details (your personal information). Make changes as necessary. If no changes click “next”</p><p>Step 2 - Certification Details (you will see prior year(s) emergency certifications. There is nothing to do on this page. Click “next”</p><p>Step 3 - Affiliation Details (nothing to do here because you are already associated with Schuylkill IU 29) Click “next”</p><p>Step 4 – LEA Selection – You should see Schuylkill IU29 with our address aside of it. Next you should see and Affiliation Start Date (it doesn’t matter what date is there). The end date should be blank. Next will be a box. Click in it to populate the check mark . </p><p>Please note: You may see Schuylkill IU 29 listed 1, 2 and possibly even 3 times. It doesn’t matter which one you chose as long as there is no end date & there is a  in the box. Click “next”</p><p>Step 5 – Background Questions – Answer all questions appropriately. Below the questions is the Affidavit. Please make sure there is a  in this box.</p><p>Click “Initiate Permit Request”</p><p>Congratulations!</p><p>Updated 5/1/15</p>
