<p> Encinal Band Review - Alameda May 4, 2013</p><p>Here is the schedule and information for the Alameda Band Review. We will be on a very different schedule from past years; be sure to look over the schedule closely.</p><p>THERE IS AN INSTRUMENT & UNIFORM INSPECTION BASED ON UNIFORMITY. ALL STUDENTS MUST LOOK AND WEAR THEIR UNIFORMS THE SAME. </p><p>All students are to bring …  Their instrument, music, sticks and all other accessories  A bag lunch  Black socks that go past their ankles (NO SHORTIES)  P.E. shorts to wear under the uniform (no jeans, sweat pants under uniform)  Short sleeve tee shirt (preferably dark colored such as Band shirt) for under the uniform, NO TANK TOPS!  All Black Marching shoes with black shoes laces  All long hair must be pulled back into a pony tail, bring rubber bands and bobby pins. No hair can be showing outside of the hat  No jewelry can be worn and only light make-up. (no fingernail polish)</p><p>10:30 am Report to the Band Room 11:00 am Leave Fallon 12:00 pm Arrive at Encinal High School, unload the truck 12:15 pm Change into uniforms, leave nothing behind in the locker room! 12:45 am Instruments and music out, warm-up (leave cell phones in your case or with your street clothes) 1:10 pm Concert Warm-up 1:30 pm Concert Ready Area 1:40 pm Concert Competition Performance 2:00 pm Finish Concert Competition, back to the truck, put all concert equipment away, hang up uniform jacket, stay in uniform pants 2:15 pm Snacks, water 3:00 pm Uniform jackets back on including our NEW HATS, marching equipment out, warm-up 3:20 pm Move to Formation Area 3:25 pm Arrive in Formation Area, additional warm-up 3:40 pm Step Off 3:50 pm Competition Zone 4:00 pm Percussion Competition 4:05 pm Finish Parade 4:10 pm Go back to equipment truck, ALL instruments away 4:15 pm Change out of uniforms, hang them up correctly (adults must check) and place on the correct uniform rack in alphabetical order. Then help with loading equipment. Head to football field. ALL students sit together in a block. 5:00 pm Drill Down, we can send 3-5 to compete 5:30 pm Awards Ceremony 6:30 pm Back on the buses, leave Alameda 7:30 pm Return to Fallon, unload the truck, put equipment away</p>
