Ad Hoc Wireless Networks</p><p>General: </p><p>1 Homework will be assigned. The instructor posts all assignments, solutions, and additional material at the WebCT site for this class. Throughout the semester, the instructor will give students feedback on how they are progressing in the course.</p><p>Project Report and Presentations:</p><p>The students will work on one assigned project (on physical layer), write a 10-15 page (type 12, double space), well-referenced technical paper and give a 10-15 minute presentation on their chosen subject. It is expected that the paper be a clear presentation of technical material found in journals. The paper should follow standard proceedings- style format (to be provided). </p><p>Attendance and Participation:</p><p>It is expected that the class size will be relatively small. As such, each student's participation is vital to the course's success. Each unexcused absence will result in a 1 point deduction (up to a maximum of 10 points) from the final grade.</p><p>Plagiarism:</p><p>Any students found giving and/or receiving assistance on Exams or Quizzes will receive a failing grade for the course. </p><p>ADA:</p><p>Students with a disability requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Disability Services (ODS).
