<p>Hillel Academy Director of Admissions- Job Description</p><p>Reporting to the Head of School and serving on the School’s Leadership Team, the Director of Admissions will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive and strategic TK – 8 enrollment program. </p><p>Admissions Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><p> To evaluate, recommend, and implement strategic initiatives to meet enrollment goals. To articulate the School’s mission effectively to prospective students and parents, which includes systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with candidates and their parents; tour of campus; interviews with candidates and parents; administering admissions assessments; arranging prospective students’ shadowing dates; coordinating teacher assessments; securing all confidential information; presentation of candidates and credentials to the Head of School; handling of all communications with prospective families regarding enrollment decisions; aid in tuition assistance filing. To review and screen all application, enrollment, referral and student records. To review outcomes with faculty. To remain contact person throughout enrollment process. To promote good relationships and networking opportunities with outside representatives, institutions, and groups (schools, synagogues, real estate agents, other Jewish agencies) who may be helpful in attracting qualified students. To organize and administer, with Head of School and School Controller, the program for Scholarships and Tuition Assistance. To manage the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year while monitoring attrition and retention in conjunction with the Business Office. To keep relevant statistics on admissions and re-enrollment programs. To keep abreast of tuition, timetables, and admission processes of other local schools. To represent the school at various gatherings and conferences. To support the school and its leadership.</p><p>Registrar Responsibilities Include:</p><p> To prepare and maintain accurate permanent student records. To inform parents of immunization requirements and changes. To obtain all immunization, birth, and adoption forms for parents. To prepare reports including State and County enrollment and admissions information. To maintain current class lists and grade lists for enrollment verification. To process 8th grade transcripts for High School enrollment. To maintain Hillel’s registration in the Florida Virtual School (FLVS). To assist students and parents in the registration process for high school and Florida Virtual School. Page Two</p><p>McKay Scholarship and Step Up for Students Program Responsibilities: </p><p> To inform, educate, and assist parents in enrollment in McKay Scholarship and Step Up for Student’s Program. To maintain a relationship with the state to obtain funding to benefit our families. To file and maintain all paper work for Hillel Academy to qualify and receive state funding. To maintain all appropriate data and files for funding. To maintain good communications with county administrators.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p> Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred. Must be committed to Jewish education in a multi-faith community. Demonstrated experience in private school admissions. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Exhibits leadership skills including strategic thinking, managing multiples priorities, organizational abilities, team building, ability to meet deadlines, and manage details. Responds with professionalism in addressing highly sensitive matters.</p>
