<p>Assessment Steering November 20, 2015</p><p>Present: Kathy, Christy, Jerri, Michele, Rick, Sara, Darlene Le (student)</p><p>Liaisons:  Roles – How can we best support our groups? Be encouraging and supportive during process  Encourage exploration of best practices. What are departments at other universities doing? Research using Campus Labs shared assessments, Google, NASPA Consortiums, etc.  Help them to look more globally at the process rather than having such a narrow focus</p><p>Three-Year Assessment Plan(s): Divisional & Departmental:  What would this look like for each department? Break down into Strategic Goals, Operational Goals & Learning Goals  Would need to align at the Divisional level. Assessment group in support of beginning conversation with Jerald about developing a three-year assessment plan  Great place to begin would be with diversity (both divisionally & departmentally)  Next step – Write questions in those areas and work with Mary at Campus Labs</p><p>Performance Programs:  Expectations of committee members: 2 year commitment  Clarification of other expectations: Kathy will draft bullet points to be given to Directors for committee members and will discuss with Jerald </p><p>Subcommittee: Training & Development Chairs: Christy Huynh & Sara Rebeor  Daniel Roberts (Orientation)  Jerry Oberst (Admissions)  Patrick Devendorf (Disability Services)  Cara Plasencia (Counseling Services)  Karen Archibee (Admissions) Will work on January Showcase – Poster session(?): What was assessed & outcomes</p><p>Marketing & Communication Chairs: Rick Kolenda and Kathy Evans  Kathy Flaherty (Financial Aid)  Allison German (Health Center)  JJ O’Connell (Athletics)  Mike Flaherty (Auxiliary Services)  Jennifer Roxas (Career Services) Will work on Website development & “We Heard Your Voice” campaign</p><p>NEXT ASSESSMENT STEERING MEETING: Dec. 7th, 10:30am, 137 Marano Campus Ctr</p><p>TEAM Agenda – December 10th Team Meeting, 114 Marano Campus Center o Dan Roberts – NASPA Benchmarking Assessment Presentation o Subcommittee Reports (Wait on 3 year plan until further discussion) o Around the Room</p>
